Bodrum Airport 40km.-Yalikavak centre 3 km. And you can try a boat trip,Water sports at Yalikavak beach and some excursions to make your stay really worhtwile. 

Area Information

 Yalikavak  Yalıkavak Larger than neighbouring Gümüşlük, spellbinding Yalıkavak has a laid-back but animated atmosphere punctuated by the colourful weekly bazar. A long stretch of sandy beach fringes the bay providing water sports and great swimming, and many irresistible restaurants, a selection of beach bars and night spots line the harbour. Shop for hand-made jewellery, leather and locally made carpets and weavings in the old town streets, or visit the art gallery in the converted olive oil processing plant.... However you choose to spend your days, you'll be followed by a welcome breeze. After seeing the sun melt into the bay of Yalikavak, you'll be left without care in the world!   

 Port Bodrum- Yalıkavak Marina Complimenting the riches of what Yalikavak already has to offer, now there is Yalıkavak Marina! Windmills Windmills are the symbol of Yalıkavak and can be seen scattered around the surrounding area. The large windmill that characterises Yalıkavak harbour has been restored to working order. On the crest of the hill overlooking the town, the view of these old stone structures silhouetted before a setting sun is truly stunning.     

The beaches The region has been awarded a blue flag for it's crystal clean waters which not only makes the area a heaven for beach lovers and swimmers but also attracts fish and other sea life in abundance.     Sealions The waters around Yalıkavak are famously a natural habitat for sealions and is protected as such. A common sight is the Manachus manachus species, a mediterraean seal that particularly favours this area.
